Verification and Validation of Sensors and Systems
Verification and validation (IV&V) is a rigorous Systems Engineering methodology applied in commercial aviation, aerospace and other high technology industries to ensure systems are engineered and installed to meet users needs through their life cycle. The need for an industry Recommended Practice (RP) for V&V in automated drilling systems became apparent during development of the DSA Roadmap. It is also an appropriate and powerful tool to assure data quality for manual / semi automated drilling processes and data analytics.
DSABOK
Drilling Systems Automation Body of Knowledge (DSABOK™) is a spin off website from the DSA Roadmap work to provide current information on DSA and act as a portal to multiple industry sources on automating drilling systems.
